Effects on Indigenous p. 97

-   The Indigenous people were worried that England did not respect their traditional ways

-   The Royal Proclamation said the English would limit their expansion and preserve/save Indigenous traditions, BUT they had already built forts and settlements

-   Pontiac’s Uprising was when many Indigenous nations joined together to fight the English.  After 2 years the war stopped.  England promised to only build forts, but they did not keep their promise
